Underwater Deep Dive for Video Spotlight
PATHOS collaborated with the Palm Beach Police & Fire Foundation to produce a compelling video as part of their “Behind the Badge” series. Each video in this series highlighted the unique roles and contributions of police officers in the Town of Palm Beach. For this particular shoot, we focused on Officer Michael Ostrander, a rescue diver for the Palm Beach Police Department, to showcase his vital work and our advanced underwater filming capabilities.
Capturing Officer Ostrander’s expertise underwater showcased our ability to bring his story to life vividly and authentically.
The main objective was to create an engaging and informative video that highlighted Officer Michael Ostrander’s expertise and the critical role of rescue divers in public safety. The video aimed to give viewers an in-depth look at the challenges and responsibilities of Officer Ostrander’s work, enhancing the public’s appreciation and understanding of the Town of Palm Beach Police Department’s diverse capabilities.
We began by coordinating with the Palm Beach Police Department to schedule the shoot and ensure all necessary safety protocols were in place. Our team utilized state-of-the-art underwater filming equipment and the skills of our Open Water PADI-Certified Scuba Divers to capture Officer Ostrander in action. The shoot involved careful planning and execution to highlight both the human element of Officer Ostrander’s work and the technical aspects of rescue diving. Post-production included editing the footage to create a compelling narrative that not only told Officer Ostrander’s story but also demonstrated the depth of his expertise and commitment. The final video was well-received, enhancing the “Behind the Badge” series and illustrating PATHOS’s ability to produce high-quality, impactful content.
