Fresh Concept for Downtown Culinary Experience

Overview
PATHOS had an exciting opportunity to work with Downtown West Palm Beach on a unique culinary experience concept called Thoroughfare. Located in the heart of Clematis Street, Thoroughfare was a community marketplace designed for people to savor local flavors, discover innovations, and engage with the vibrant happenings of Downtown West Palm Beach. As a social hub, Thoroughfare would bring together the diverse ventures of local culinary and business creators, offering a space where they can share their dining delights, boutique brands, and engaging experiences with the community. It’s was planned to be a collaborative, inventive environment where entrepreneurs could establish their businesses and explore new growth opportunities.
We want everyone who interacts with the Thoroughfare brand to
come away feeling inspired and connected to their community. We want them to learn
something they didn’t know. Find something they can’t find anywhere else.
Goals
Our mission was to help businesses find a home, plant community roots, and grow together. With the tagline “Explore. Indulge. Experience.” at the core of Thoroughfare’s brand promise, we aimed to inspire and connect the community. We wanted everyone interacting with the Thoroughfare brand to feel inspired, learn something new, find unique offerings, and satisfy their cravings. Ultimately, our goal was to help people make memories and cultivate a sense of belonging.
Process
We started by crafting a unique brand voice, narrative, and identity that would energize both the community and the local marketplace. Our team led training sessions for downtown ambassadors and prospective businesses, teaching them how to effectively leverage the brand assets across social media and digital platforms. To enhance the physical space, we created engaging wayfinding and signage experiences that not only beautified the area but also made it more navigable and welcoming. This project was a vibrant blend of creativity and community-building, showcasing PATHOS’s ability to bring a brand to life in a meaningful and impactful way.
